Accommodation provision plays a fundamental part in supporting the University's recruitment strategy and this post will lead this increasingly important area as we strive to meet student demand and provide an accommodation guarantee for every new student who meets our criteria.

Based within the wider directorate of Student Operations and Support, the Accommodation Services team play a crucial role in managing and allocating the University's accommodation portfolio.

You will balance the management responsibility for the team with the key role of being the lead expert on accommodation services within the institution, ensuring that our portfolio, allocation policy and service processes are reliable and relevant to the changing student market and an increasingly challenging recruitment environment.

With the university changing the way it's ownership of some of our accommodation, you will play a pivotal role in creating client relationships.

You will have experience of accommodation provision to students, of leading a team in a customer service orientated environment, adept at juggling the demands of a busy role and you will also be a strong communicator.

The University is committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive environment for all staff regardless of age, disability, family or caring responsibilities, gender identity, marital status, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief (including non-belief), sex and sexual orientation.

We embrace equality and diversity in our working, learning, research and teaching environment and are committed to maintaining a supportive and inclusive community.

For the vast majority of our roles, we operate an agile working system with time split between working on campus and at the employee's home.

It is the University's expectation that home working will take place within the UK.
