    Description

    Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced *Female Healthcare Assistant* to support an adult who has a learning disability, is non-verbal and struggles with seizures and anxiety.

    They will also require help with eating and drinking and though they use a wheelchair when out and about, they are able to transfer themselves and walk small steps.

    *The ideal candidate would be a resilient, seasoned carer with a solid understanding of personal care, and experience with moving and handling. It's essential that you have experience with Learning Disabilities and Epilepsy with medications.
    *It is not essential that you have specific experience working with complex needs as you will get all the training you need. This will involve training and shadowing until one of our nurses is happy to sign you off as competent. *Training is paid for.

    • 00 p/hr Monday - Friday £30 p/hr Saturday - Sunday £30 p/hr Bank Holidays_We offer the option to be paid __Weekly __or __Monthly__

    Shifts:

    • 8am – 8pm, Part Time
    • It's vital that we have staff consistency and so you will be required to pick up a minimum number of shifts. You will be able to pick up more shifts each week if you would like to. Weekday shifts and Weekend shifts are available. While there are lots of work opportunities within Ocean Healthcare, the terms detailed in this job advert are specific ONLY to this package of care. Permanent and bank contracts available. You can work full or part time.

    You must be patient and caring and able to work on your own while providing care as part of a team.
