Our client are looking for an experienced transport planner to join their busy transport team, in this role you will be using the vehicle planning software to ensure efficient & effective plans are created daily ensuring all jobs are planned and allocated for the following days plan.

As a transport planner your duties will include;

Managing customer/network orders and prioritisation based on customer requirements
Support the operations team in maintaining service to customers and networks
Help build runs for the general drivers
Give a detailed night shift plan and handover for the night shift and the following morning s shift to allow smooth operations throughout the shifts
Pre-assign required collections ahead of the following shift
Support the Planning Manager in maintaining the routing data within the planning system
Experience working in a transport operation and knowledge of the logistics industry
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes to meet the demands placed on Miniclipper by our customers
