- To carry out technical inspections / assessments against defined specifications / scope that includes budget constraints and contractual requirements.

- A degree or equivalent from a tertiary organisation recognised by Lloyd's Register in Chemical Engineering or within other relevant fields of engineering or physical science (minimum of two years programme).
- Proficiency in the English Language commensurate with the work.
- Knowledge of Process Safety Engineering basics, with understanding of design of the oil and gas and energy systems processes and associated aspects, and multidisciplinary understanding mainly regarding Electrical and Instrumentation, Fire and Safety, Mechanical, and Materials aspects.
- Familiarity and understanding of the relevant industry Codes and Standards, references, as well as procedures and practices of Classification, Certification, Verification, and Validation as applicable to respective design appraisal services with regards to the ocean economy industries' areas of operation.
- To take trainings related to the competencies required for further development as per the defined training plan(s).
