    Description

    AA Euro Group have been retained by a leading Construction Company looking to recruit a Quality Control Inspector for Hinkley Point C Nuclear project.

    This is a full-time permanent position.

    You will be involved in developing, monitoring and implementing the company`s HSEQ policy, ensuring that at all times they are compliant with Health and Safety Regulation.

    This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project.

    The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main MEH, cabling and associated support services.

    This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework for the power station's thousands of rooms.

    As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

    You'll ensure static, and rotation mechanical equipment is installed in the correct orientation:

    Liaise with client's representative for conducting of day-to-day inspection during the construction activities.

    Ensure installation of equipment is in compliance with ECS Code, drawings, vendor and code requirements with respect to; This role is full time, with a four-day week every other week, and will be based at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater.

    There is however a secondment allowance and accommodation available for anyone based more than two hours from the site.
    Essential experience of the Quality Control Inspector
    Experience as a mechanical QC inspector
    Experience working in a highly regulated industry (oil and gas, nuclear etc.)
    Qualifications for the Quality Control Inspector
    Degree in engineering or time served apprenticeship in mechanical discipline preferred
