Location:
Whitechapel, London, E1 3DH


Start Date:
Immediate


Salary:
£80 - £90 per day (PAYE)

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities:


  • Provide support to classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that meet the diverse needs of all students.
  • Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom materials, resources, and learning activities, ensuring accessibility for students with additional needs.
  • Support individual students or small groups with their learning, providing targeted support and intervention as required.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, respected, and supported.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour management, promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing among students.

Requirements:


  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Empathy, patience, and resilience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Previous experience working in an educational or support role, particularly within a primary school setting, is advantageous but not essential.
