Job description
Our Team�
The Resourcing Team is a high performing and friendly team that sits within ICS and provides recruitment support to both departments (DSIT & DESNZ)�
We work closely with vacancy holders across the departments to onboard candidates into roles and also have responsibility for the recruitment policy and strategy initiatives, which includes attraction, outreach and policy initiatives to improve recruitment outcomes. The team is split into two distinct strands that work closely together to deliver an award winning recruitment service.
The Recruitment Attraction Manager will play an integral part on the team, combining communication, interpersonal, and creative skills.
It is absolutely essential that we attract the right people for our roles so that both DSIT and DESNZ can deliver for the UK, whether that is securing our energy supplies, delivering against Net Zero targets or ensuring that our public services use cutting edge innovation, and this role sits at the forefront of achieving this.�
The role is responsible for:
� Developing creative content for recruitment campaigns and marketing channels
� Advising and sharing best practices with vacancy holders to improve recruitment outcomes, including advising on job adverts, the use of social media and appropriate assessment methods������
� Supporting the marketing of roles across the team, including the use of social media channels
� Liaising with stakeholders of varying grades, both internally and externally
� Engaging with candidates via social media channels to provide a positive� recruitment� experience
�� Measuring and reporting on the performance of content and recruitment channels and using data to drive continuous improvement
Person specification
We would love to hear from you if you have:� Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience of creating engaging and consistent �content for different communication channels and audiences
� Demonstrable ability to use knowledge to guide, advise and influence colleagues at all grades�around best practice ensuring they adopt suitable solutions for their recruitment campaigns�
� Have well-developed skills in creating shareable content on social media channels�
� Ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people to achieve shared goals
Desirable criteria:
� Previous recruitment or recruitment administration experience�
� Experience in communications and/or marketing

Office attendance
The Department operates a discretionary hybrid working policy, which provides for a combination of working hours from your place of work and from your home in the UK. The current expectation for staff is to attend the office or non-home based location for 40-60% of the time over the accounting period.
