- Focusing on the commercial aspects at every stage of the build
- Sharing your expertise and experience to support and develop your engineers.
- To be able to carry out complex setting out
- An understanding of construction tolerances
- An awareness of complex specification and other contract documents
- An understanding of terms, conditions and outputs of subcontractors and suppliers
- Up-to-date knowledge of engineering and industry best practice
- A relevant engineering degree and professional qualifications, or equivalent
- A passion for what we could achieve together and pride in a job well done
- Knowledge of the construction process in one or more of the following areas:
- Earthworks/Drainage, Pavement, Structures, Roadworks
- Leadership skills developing
- Targeting and actively progressing professional accreditation (eg ICE, IHT)

Working on big projects for big clients as a Section Engineer , you'll need:
The following qualities/experience are desirable:
Additionally you will be based in Scotland and will need to travel to various sites across Scotland such as Argyll, Dumbarton, Fife, Edinburgh, East Lothian, Arbroath as well as Perth. Other locations will include however not limited to Stranraer, Dumfries, Newton Stewart.
A car will be provided for travel to sites in Scotland
