Are you a proven leader who develops B2B customer-facing teams and has a passion for improving sales through service experience? We're seeking a talented Marketplace Sales Director to spearhead our team in York.

As a Marketplace Sales Director, you will strategically plan and execute initiatives to meet EMEA sales targets and expand our customer base.

You will lead and develop sales team leaders across various functions to exceed sales goals and prioritise a Customer First Culture.

Ensuring world-class customer service, identifying new market opportunities using data, and managing sales metrics and budgets are central to my responsibilities.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the whole EMEA region, not only for the UK. Occasional travel for tradeshows and regional office duties is required.

Marketplace at Edmund Optics is the one stop-shop for optics and photonics, sold directly through the website, catalogue and phone to thousands of businesses, universities, and institutions.

• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or in related field
• Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of B2B sales processes and customer dynamics
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
