    Job Title: KS2 Teacher - SEND School

    Location: Bury

    Temp Salary: £ £238.18 per day

    Permanent Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per year + SEN allowance £2539

    Start Date: ASAP

    Contract Type: Temp to perm

    Overview:
    We are currently looking for a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join our team at a SEND school in Bury. This role involves working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. While experience with SEMH and ASC is advantageous, it is not essential.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of KS2 students with SEMH requirements.
    • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social and emotional well-being of all students.
    • Collaborate with support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and address specific learning needs effectively.
    • Utilize effective behavior management strategies and de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
    • Maintain open and proactive communication with students, parents, and external support agencies.
    Qualifications and Requirements:
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
    • Experience or specialization in SEMH education is beneficial.
    • Strong classroom management skills and ability to implement effective behavior management strategies.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
