What you'll do

In your new role, you'll effectively manage and control operational systems and lending processes within your area of influence, supporting our Coutts clients.

You'll oversee the appropriate use of credit processes, systems and implementation of credit policy,to effectively support the control of credit risk in a manner capable of responding to the economic environment.


It'll also be your responsibility to:

  • Actively consider the inherent, material risks of the business and organisation
  • Analyse the risk profile and seek confirmation that the risks are being appropriately identified, assessed and mitigated to the desired level
  • Conduct suitable targeted reviews to ensure first line compliance with policies and responsibilities
  • Provide senior management with relevant information and escalate concerns regarding the management of credit risks where appropriate

The skills you'll need
You'll demonstrate flexibility and change orientation, as well as the ability to work with only limited supervision.

You'll also need:

  • A good understanding of the principles of risk
  • Knowledge of credit risk systems and processes
  • A broad experience and understanding of credit risk management
