    Associate

    Employment Law

    Location: Birmingham

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide strategic legal advice to clients on all aspects of employment law, including disciplinary matters, grievances, redundancies, and discrimination claims.
    • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare cases for litigation or alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
    • Represent high calibre clients in employment tribunal hearings, negotiations, and mediations, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
    • Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and support staff to deliver exceptional client service on high-ticket work.
    • Stay updated on changes in employment law and proactively identify opportunities to enhance client service and expand our practice areas.

    Qualifications:

    • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4PQE in employment law, preferably gained within a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
    • Strong technical knowledge of employment legislation, case law, and best practices.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse caseload of employment matters independently and efficiently.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and advocacy skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
    • Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services, meeting deadlines, and exceeding client expectations.
