    We are looking for a newly qualified / about to qualify student radiographer to come and join our friendly team in Sussex. We can offer a supportive environment to help establish and develop your skills in general radiography, Cone beam CT, basic non-contrast CT and fluoroscopy work.

    We would welcome applications from 3rd year students.

    Informal visits are welcomed and encouraged.

    Main duties of the job The job encompasses
    • Acting as an IRMER operator for radiology equipment
    • Providing patients with outstanding care
    • Working as part of a team with both clinical and non clinical radiology workforce/other departments
    • Competency in vetting and protocolling radiographic, Cone Beam CT referrals
    • Supporting delivery of on-call system
    • Developing excellent communication skills

    Person Specification Qualifications Essential
    • HCPC registration (including graduating students)
    • NHS experience (as student or qualified)
    Desirable
    • Modalities experience - fluoro/CBCT/XR
    Additional requirements Essential
    • CPD - activity demonstrated via dissertation/reflection
    Desirable
    • Mandatory training - BLS/IPAC etc
    Experience Essential
    • Full range of Radiographic Competencies in: General X-Ray, Mobile Radiography, barium/specials (either as a student or as a qualified radiographer)
    • Audit experience (either in current department/University) with recommendations from the findings
    Desirable
    • Radiography Evidence of working within a busy, acute setting
