- Providing strategic financial information and leadership at contract level, supporting the contract management team in driving contract efficiencies, providing comprehensive, high-quality analysis to aid and support business decision making
- Maintaining the accounting system via journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, developing and implementing financial systems to support the requirements of the business
- Managing on site invoice holds and invoice queries, liaise with site teams and the FSSC to resolve issues, generating and analyse monthly CVR reviews ensuring true position is understood
- Assisting the Finance Manager with the month end and running cost reports for use by the Commercial team
- Liaising closely with the corporate Finance Team and ensure they have all supporting documentation needed and assist in resolving any queries
- An understanding and knowledge in management accounting principles and budgeting
- Experience in either construction, highways maintenance or project accounting
- Drive and hold a full licence

What will you be responsible for?
As a Management Accountant, you'll be working within the Finance team, supporting them in preparing monthly management accounts and timely management information to support decision making and drive contract efficiencies. A key member of the wider finance team responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies, liaising closely with other financial colleagues across Kier Transportation and the wider group.
