Hybrid working days office based.

My clients are an FCA-regulated provider of innovative financial products in the Probate sector, they help individuals access inheritance funds more quickly and easily than traditional financial products.

The main purpose of the role is to work alongside Head of Underwriting to manage live cases by engaging with the administering solicitor, obtaining updates on the progress of the estate, flagging any concerns and undertaking recovery action where needed.

This role is ideally suited to someone with collections/litigation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out full case review process including:

Comprehensive review of current status of the estate administration
Confirm adherence to impairment policy
Basic financial modelling to determine impairment levels
Present comprehensives recommendations to Credit Committee ensuring that all information and circumstance have been considered
Manage recovery activity
Demonstrate a strong risk focus in all decision making
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business and key third parties to build strong relationships

Knowledge, experience, skills, other attributes:

Experience of working in a collections and recoveries role is essential
MS Office skills desirable. Ability to perform basic excel tasks
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Innovative and passionate with a willingness to challenge the norm to drive improvements
