    If you're on the lookout for a chance to be part of a cheerful and high-achieving school where the importance of PSHE is strongly supported by the school leaders and where you'll be nurtured and backed, then this could be a fantastic opportunity for you.

    We are searching for an individual with the potential, expertise, and motivation to excel as a superb PSHE Lead Teacher. This thrilling position involves overseeing the PSHE curriculum and teaching team, in addition to school-wide and strategic efforts to ensure that our students can make informed, safe, and positive choices about all aspects of their lives and well-being.

    This position will facilitate the enhancement of our curriculum to guarantee that we provide enriching and ambitious opportunities to all our students, empowering them with the skills and knowledge to become responsible, considerate, and dynamic individuals for the future.

    We are seeking a teacher who possesses:

    • The ability to lead the curriculum and its evolution in PSHE
    • A heartfelt dedication to students' personal growth and broader development
    • Demonstrated skills in communicating with colleagues, students, and parents
    • A clear grasp of how to foster and enhance students' development and awareness of broader issues that will enrich their lives.

    This challenging role presents an exciting opportunity for you to make a real impact. Fostering students' overall personal development is a critical focus in our school-wide enhancement, and this role plays a pivotal part in our journey from good to great.

    Hollyfield is a picturesque school with a thriving sixth form, located in the Surbiton region of Outer London. Excellent transport connections enable our staff and students to seize the abundant opportunities London offers. We are an aspiring institution that prioritizes student success and well-being.

    Hollyfield is affiliated with the Every Child, Every Day Multi Academy Trust, and we maintain strong bonds with our Trust partners. In March 2020, we received a 'good' rating from Ofsted. The Trust provides exceptional subject-specific support and leadership CPD through the NPQ programs. This role presents a superb chance for those seeking their initial middle-leadership role or for experienced middle leaders interested in working in a supportive department that utilizes evidence-based teaching techniques to propel progress and accomplishments.

    Selection Process:

    • Conducting a teaching demo to a full class of students;
    • Engaging in an informal Q&A session with a student panel;
    • Completing a written task analyzing a Scheme of Work;
    • Panel interview.

    We are excited to review your application. For any visits or casual chats, please reach out to Marianne O' Shea, Deputy Headteacher.

    Job applications are solely accepted through the TES website. Kindly note that CVs will not be considered, and our designated application form should be filled out.

    We recommend applying early as we retain the right to hire before the deadline if a suitable candidate is identified. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an interview. If you don't hear from us within a week of the deadline, please assume you haven't been shortlisted this time.

    The Governing and Trust Bodies are unswervingly dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our students and expect all staff members to share this commitment. We acknowledge our responsibilities for safeguarding and child protection. Any job offer is contingent upon satisfactory pre-employment screening, including an enhanced DBS check, overseas criminal record checks where applicable, background checks encompassing an online examination of the applicant's social media profiles, and receipt of positive references. It's unlawful to seek employment with children if barred from engaging in regulated activities relevant to children. The schools within the Trust are wholeheartedly committed to holistic personal development, inclusivity, and the pursuit of maximizing each student's potential.
