    Fair Access and Missing Education Caseworker - Ref: CH00124
    • Salary G5 £25,119 - £28,770 per annum
    • Permanent - 37 Hours per Week
      Through personal commitment and clear action, the postholder will promote the Council's employment policies, with reference to diversity, equality of access and treatment in employment, service delivery and community involvement. To support/develop a working culture within these services that reflects the corporate vision.

      The post holder will liaise directly with head teachers, governing bodies, colleagues in other local authorities and other professionals to ensure that pupil information is shared effectively and appropriately in accordance with GDPR regulations.
      • To support the operation of the Children Missing Education Panel
      • To support the operation of the Fair Access Protocol and the Fair Access Panels
      • To maintain databases relating to the operation of the Pupil Tracking, Children Missing Education Panel and the Fair Access Panels, using the Capita One Admissions software
      • To support all aspects of the School Attendance Order process
        Applicants will be expected to have excellent written and numerical skills as well as an ability to communicate (negotiate and influence) at all levels.

        This post is covered by the Government's Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
