Job Summary
Exciting changes are happening, and we are on the lookout for Crisis Intervention Nurses in the Mindworks Crisis Intervention Service for Surrey.
If you are an RMN, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with experience working with Children and Young People, ready to lead and support assessments and interventions for young individuals in crisis, we want to hear from you.
Our team offers a 7-day crisis intervention service, engaging in discovery conversations with children, young people, and families facing emotional and mental health crises in local hospitals and community settings. Operating hours are from 9 am to 5 pm every day, including Bank Holidays, with one late shift until 8 pm every 2 weeks. Expectation of unsocial and weekend shifts.
The ideal candidate should be registered with NMC or HCPC, have experience working with vulnerable individuals in crisis, and have specific experience with children and young people.

Positions Available:
Main Duties of the Job
As a Crisis Intervention Nurse, your main responsibilities include leading and supporting assessments, risk and care planning for Children and Young People (CYPS) in crisis situations. You will collaborate with families, carers, and acute staff to ensure safe discharge and follow-up care in the community.
You will also mentor junior staff, deliver high-quality care, participate in training, maintain KPIs, and collect data to support service growth. This role offers structured career progression with training opportunities in Crisis Intervention and DBT skills.
Golden Hello
