We are currently recruiting a FULL TIME Food and Beverage Assistant Supervisor to join our team at our Eastern Express food establishment at the Alton Towers Resort from April 2024 – November 2024 with potential hours over December and February 2025.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:
As a Food and Beverage Assistant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our fast-food restaurant. You will assist the Food and Beverage Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing a team of frontline staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

• Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of the food and beverage team.
• Provide guidance and leadership to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Oversee daily tasks and responsibilities, ensuring team members adhere to company policies and procedures.

Customer Service:

• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience for guests.
• Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Work closely with staff to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Operational Excellence:

• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to execute operational plans and meet performance targets.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in placing orders to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, food handling procedures, and sanitation guidelines.

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular inspections of food preparation areas and dining areas, and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor food presentation and taste to guarantee consistent quality.
• Address any issues related to food quality or service promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Preferable experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the food and beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of fast-food operations, customer service, and food safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Education:

• Relevant education or certifications in hospitality or food service management is a plus.

PLEASE NOTE:

• MUST have experience in food and beverage
• Must be able to work weekends
• You can work between 9am-6pm initially.
• You can commute to Alton Towers, must be able to provide own transport
• Wage according to age/experience.

Expected start date: ASAP

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 10 months

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
