    HR & Payroll Officer (Term Time Only plus 10 days) 30 or 37 hours
    Our client is a leading Bath based school.

    They are looking for an HR and Payroll Officer to work 30-37 hours per week on a term time only basis, Monday to Friday with an 8am start each day.

    Reporting into the HR Manager, responsibilities will include:
    Providing an approachable, professional HR service, offering advice and guidance to employees and managers
    Providing an efficient and responsive HR Operations service
    Providing HR Management Information on a regular and ad hoc basis as required
    Support a variety of HR projects.
    Maintaining accurate HR records (using HR database and manual files)
    Acting as an HR systems superuser
    Supporting in the delivery of training on HR systems and processes
    Organising safeguarding training
    Ongoing review and development of HR policies and procedures
    Monitoring probation periods

    End to end recruitment including advertising roles, dealing with candidates, organising interviews, drafting offers of employment, pre-employment checks and organising induction.

    Supporting payroll, ensuring all required information is passed to external payroll provider in a timely manner and is accurate including starters, leavers, maternity, sickness, pension deductions, pay awards etc.

    Supporting with pensions administration
    Previous HR administration experience would be advantageous but not essential.
    Flexible attitude to work
    23,018 - £24,634 (actual based on 37 hours per week) – term time only plus 10 days
    Bath – 100% office based with occasional travel to other sites.
