    Main Duties of the Job

    - Manage daily inpatient and outpatient workload checking

    - Ensure safe, efficient, and timely prescription dispensing

    - Uphold departmental policies and meet patient and pharmacy department needs

    Qualifications

    Essential Criteria

    • BTEC / NVQ Level 3 Certified Pharmacy Technician registered with GPhC
    • Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) Certificate

    Experience

    Essential Criteria

    • Post-qualification hospital experience
    • Supervisory experience
    • Patient counseling skills

    Desirable Criteria

    • Proficiency in the CMM pharmacy computer system
    • Understanding of and involvement in data collection for KPIs and audits
    • Dispensing/supply experience for clinical trials

    Skills & Abilities

    Essential Criteria

    • Effective workload organization for self and others
    • Computer literacy for dispensing and stock management
    • Ability to perform under pressure and prioritize tasks

    • Change management skills
