NOCN Group are recruiting for an Examinations Officer to ensure that new examinations and tests are ready for delivery and to support the enhancement of examinations systems.
Please note this role is based in our Sheffield Head Office and there will be an element of hybrid working available.

What will you be doing?
As an Examinations Officer, your duties and responsibilities will be (but not limited to):
- Liaise with Senior Product Developers and EPA Technical Developers to plan and implement the development and delivery of test materials to meet specified design requirements and deadlines.
- Set up templates in the delivery systems to ensure that tests and examinations are generated in line with agreed specifications.
- Build and load test and examination materials onto delivery systems and ensure that quality checks are completed before making available for delivery.
- Monitor the use of examinations and report to the Examinations and Awarding Manager to ensure that awarding meetings are scheduled in a timely manner.
- Manage the content of test item banks by auditing the number and range of items in the banks and commissioning new items as necessary to create a number of sufficiently unpredictable examinations.
- Check the quality of tests and test items by running NOCN reports and comparing results to NOCN benchmark data, reporting results to the Senior Product Developer and EPA Technical Developer and taking remedial action as agreed.
About you...
- Have right to work in the UK full time for a minimum of 2 years (NOCN Group does
not offer visa sponsorship). - Level 2+ in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Educated to Level
- Significant and recent experience of working with awarding organisations or similar bodies to develop vocational educational products in a competitive market.
- Experience of analysing data and providing reports to inform decisionmaking.
Other desirable, but essential, critera:
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Experience of PowerBi.
- Knowledge of the external quality assurance requirements relevant to qualifications and endpoint assessments in the UK.
