Description
We are looking for passionate professionals to join our kitchen team for an new restaurant opening in June; The role will be to assist the Head Chef in running and establishing a busy day service and evening service with a concentration on cuts of meat, smoked, BBQ and grilled with both a Mediterranean flavour and American with a selection of wonderful side dishes, alongside afternoon teas and breakfasts.
The sous chefs at Bazaar will be responsible for helping to run the kitchen during service as well as collaborating with the rest of the team to develop new and innovative recipe ideas.
To help the Head chef maintain a high standard of consistency at all times, establishing good basic systems to work with that will establish the kitchen and create solid foundations for the business going forwardWork at all times with current food legislation and safe working practices including HACCP and in house allergen procedures.
To collaborate with kitchen team in recipe development. Tasting to maintain high standards across our food offering and challenge and retrain where necessary.To advise and support in the induction of new kitchen staff
Spoken and written English at a B2 level or above
Computer literacy
A passion for hospitality
At least 3 years working at a senior level in a kitchen.
