We are currently looking for a Technical Manager - Electric Vehicles and Emissions for our client, a company supporting and promoting the interests of the UK automotive industry at home.

The successful candidate will lead as a technical specialist for electrified vehicles, powertrains, noise and fuels on regulations, standards, government policy and strategy in all relevant technical areas for the UK automotive industry.

Prepare succinct and clear briefing papers, slides, and materials for senior management.
Ability to interpret, provide guidance on requirements and shape regulatory content, policy, and strategy.
Proven professional experience in automotive industry or relevant government departments, agencies, or sister industries.

Ability to multi-task, respond flexibly to needs of business, and organise work effectively on different projects and issues, follow and deliver on internal processes and timelines.

Good project management and organisational skills.
