One Place Solutions are recruiting for one of our clientsbased in Burntwood. They are the leading supplier of high-quality stainless steel and aluminium equipment for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other hygiene conscious industries. Due to increased production demands, we are now in a position to recruit for a Press Brake Setter / Operator / Programmer to complement our existing team.

Role Overview:

Reporting directly to the Sheet Metal Foreman, this role is responsible for setting, operating and programming a variety of brake press machines including Amada and Edwards Pearson. Other duties involved within this role are outlined below:

Main duties will include:

• Adjust and load tools as required to perform correct folds and bends to produce a variety of aluminium and stainless-steel components.
• To read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Maintain and ensure equipment is safe, clean and in good working order.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy, adhering to Health and Safety procedures and policies at all times.
• Assist with any other task as required in line with business needs and as required within your skill set and experience.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Must possess experience operating press brake machines.
• Must possess experience setting press brake machines.
• Have knowledge and experience of using Amada and Bystronic machines would be an advantage.
• Possess a good understanding of engineering drawings.
• Be able to work within a team or on your own.
• Possess a 'can do' attitude.
• Pay attention to detail and quality.

• Rate of pay is £ £15.00 per hour dependant on experience.
