    Overview:

    A position has opened for 'Logistics Supervisor' within the Emco Wheaton, Margate facility.

    This position will report directly to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager – as part of the site Operations Team.

    General Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Deputises for Warehouse and Logistics Manager
  • Manages Goods In Operatives, Stores Operatives and Despatch Operatives daily workload
  • Measures efficiency, workflows and strives to improve processes throughout the Logistics area
  • Manages stock movements throughout the facility
  • Accountable for shipments – On time and in full
  • Manages Quality of packaging, accuracy and optimisation
  • Owns 5s implementation, housekeeping and ensures safe working practices throughout
  • Responsible for correct SAP accounts, transactions
  • Manages and investigate/remedies stock losses and raised stock discrepancies
  • Ensures yard of facility is kept to a high standard of house-keeping/safety
  • Below desired skillset/experience:

  • SAP experience
  • FLT use
