    The Solution Architect role co‐ordinates the development of the architectural frameworks and leads the population of these frameworks with coherent and consistent architectural views.

    The individual is responsible for setting down architectural principles and vision and for ensuring the rigour and integrity of the enterprise architecture, together with associated deliverables.

    As a member of the Product Team(s) and ceremonies;Understand the E2E solution stack for the given productsSupport the analysis of data service requirements for new projects.

    Identify where existing services might be used and where new services are required. Ensure that new data services are as reusable as possible.
    Identify synergies between projects and provide direction where there is overlap and review data service designs. Cooperate and work closely with the delivery teams to ensure alignment of the data architecture to other initiatives. Drive new initiatives to improve data quality, for example by implementing standard validation tools.

    Coordinates data design activity, within a programme, takes responsibility for the technical integrity of projects data, ensuring that common technical elements are recognised and that work is not unnecessarily duplicated.

    Advises on data access methods and tools, including the technical aspects of configuration management methods, system security requirements (confidentiality, integrity and availability), the operational and maintenance aspects of systems under development, and proposed system recovery procedures.

    Works alongside the Enterprise Architects and other Product team Solution Architects to define, create and maintain the data architectural patterns for data service designs, its principles and standards including class definitions, API definitions and table definitionsLeads the development of architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external, and internal customers.

    Provide monitoring and proactive technical risk alerts (Data, capacity)Monitor aspects of cloud costs and usageIdentifies and resolves issues with applications, following agreed procedures.

    Carries out agreed applications maintenance tasks.
