- Manage Goods Receiving and Mailroom team and their activities in accordance with reporting structure and responsibility levels
- Assist the FM in managing and co-ordinating the activities of the Goods Receiving Centre and Mail Room teams to meet the clients service level agreement
- Prioritise workload and assist / direct colleagues to ensure individual and team performance is maximised
- Provision of mailroom/porterage services
- Processing of incoming and outgoing mail in line with site specific requirements
- Processing of courier requests for inbound and outbound services using manual and on line systems
- Must be educated to a good standard and be self motivated
- Essential to possess qualities to lead, motivate and inspire the team
- Must be able to identify and resolve issues and challenges to meet/exceed the expectations of our customer and clients
- Must have experience of portering / stores and mail room activity
- Appropriate qualifications or experience in manual handling and general health and safety at work
- Fork lift truck driving licence
- Must be highly motivated and a good communicator
- Must have some knowledge of Health and Safety at work and risk assessments
- I.T skills
- Must be willing to develop own skills
- A full UK driving licence is essential
