To meet the increased demand from our customers we are looking for someone very special to come and join us, we require a new
Small Works Estimator.
These are exciting times within Dowry and we are looking for someone who will become a key asset to the business.
About You
We are looking for a team player who is a fantastic communicator, embraces high levels of customer service and is not afraid of working hard.
You will have the full backing of the Managing Director, and the rest of the Management Team, to help steer your activities and provide the relevant technical and business support.
You will arrange site visits to discuss current and future needs for our existing and new customers. Excellent time management and planning skills are therefore paramount to your success.
You will need to be able to provide accurate and detailed reports (as and when directed) in a professional and timely manner.
In summary:
- Developing and preparing quotes for submission pricing (and methodology if required)
- Working with suppliers to obtain material prices for quotations
- Developing good relationships with Clients
- Proven track record in estimating (minimum 3 years' experience)
- Have a good understanding of drawings
- Ideally building maintenance experience
- Must have a positive outlook
- Loyalty
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Desire to work for a friendly, growing Company
- Attending Pre/post contract meetings with clients
- Driven, hungry, ambitious and enthusiastic
The Role
Starting salary of
£33,000 - £36,000 per annum.
We are hoping that the right individual will see past these figures and understand the true earning potential this role could offer to the right person with the correct attitude and drive.

Salary:
£33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year

- surveying: 2 years (preferred)

- Driving Licence (required)
