    Description

    Cranleigh STEM is working with a leading medical device manufacturer on the border of Essex and Cambridgeshire, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join its team on a permanent, full-time basis.


    As a QA technician, you will play a key role in supporting the administration and general upkeep of the QMS in accordance with the relevant standards.


    To be considered for this opportunity you should ideally possess previous QA experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment, and have knowledge of ISO-9001 and/or ISO-13485.


    Salary:
    £28,000 - £31,000

    Benefits: 25 Days + Banks, Company pension, EV scheme, Cycle to work scheme, Life assurance, Training & development,
    Hours: 37.5 Hours, Monday - Friday

    Full-time, Permanent


    Location:
    Commutable from Bishops Stortford, Braintree, Cambridge, and Royston


    Responsibilities:
    Manage tracking systems and registers to ensure that the QMS is in a controlled state and is compliant with policies, SOPs, best practices, and requirements of relevant standards:
    Approved Supplier List (ASL).
    Audits (internal/external).
    QIs, Complaints, Non-Conformances, CAPAs, RCAs, and Change Control.
    Collate information for customer requests, also external and internal audits.
    Organise management of the calibration system, to ensure that all calibrated equipment is tracked and recalibrated on time.
    Support the process of equipment validation.
    Quality systems internal auditing.


    Requirements:
    Some knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 and experience in maintaining a Quality Management System.
    Previous QA or audit experience would be advantageous.
    Ability to work with critical attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
    Experience with Microsoft Office at an intermediate level (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook).
    Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
