ADMINISTRATIVE ROLE within the County LADO Service as a Contact & Referral Officer (CRO)

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Unit (children) for a Contact and Referral Officer to provide effective (administrative and processing) support to the County Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) Service.

You will have a high level of organisation and prioritisation skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel.

The role requires a degree of multi-tasking and working under pressure during busy times. This role is not a traditional administrative role and no two days are the same.

This post is hybrid working between home and Kroner House in Ashford.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position.

The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.

The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
