Job Opportunity - Dental Technician - Edgbaston, Birmingham

We are recruiting for a Dental Technician on behalf of a busy Birmingham based Dental Laboratory.

This is a permanent job offering flexibility in working hours which could be anything from 15 to 37.5 hours a week so suiting those looking for part time and full time jobs.

The starting point for the job is to take on responsibility as the Plaster Room Technician which will see you:

• Casting impressions.
  
• Trimming plaster models.
  
• Duplicating plaster models.
  
• Labelling plaster models ready for Technicians to take over.
  

Once you have perfected your role in the Plaster Room then you will have the opportunity to widen your knowledge to include:

• Rubber stoning and polishing.
  
• Producing mouth guards and a variety of trays.
  
• Getting involved in the production or orthodontic appliances.
  

Requirements

To be considered you are going to need:

• A minimum of one years experience casting models within a dental or orthodontic lab.
