Description
Job Description Opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer with either an interest in or existing IP experience to secure an in-house role where you will work on cutting edge R&D projects and collaborations, as well as advising the business in relation to general commercial and IP matters.
A new opportunity has arisen for a commercial lawyer, ideally with some IP experience to support the business with R&D projects and collaborations as well as general commercial and IP legal advice.
This position is based in the West Midlands and can be undertaken on a hybrid basis with 3 days a week in the office.
You will work within an established, experienced team, advising and leading on commercial projects including commercial & IP contracts relating to projects, research and development and collaborations.
For lawyers currently in private practice, this represents an opportunity to move in-house and join a leading organisation where you will be supported and guided by more experienced lawyers.
For lawyers already in an in-house department, this could be an opportunity to step up to a more senior role where you will have supervisory responsibilities and strategic input into the wider legal function.
The office culture is friendly and relaxed, and a good work life balance is enjoyed by the legal team.
You will have lots of interaction across the legal team and wider business. This position would be suited to a lawyer with at least 4 years' experience gained in IP and/or commercial contracts.
