Receptionist - 2 days pw (maternity cover)
Central Cheltenham
We are looking to recruit a friendly and efficient front of house receptionist to work 2 days pw on a job share basis at an amazing office development in central Cheltenham.
The role will also include responsibility for undertaking some concierge and pop up initiatives - so if you are creative and enthusiastic about reaching out to the local business community to find some exclusive offers for everyone working in the building - this could be the role for you.
Hours and Salary
Working 2 days per week, 19 hours per week
Monday and Tuesday 8.00am - 5.30pm
Salary:
£11,075 part time (£11.21ph)
(Breaks including lunch to be taken in the building)
Temporary contract, for up to 6 months, to cover a period of maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting all visitors to the building to ensure a warm welcome you will be the 'face of the building'
- Support the offsite Property Management Company by ensuring any building issues are reported and managed to resolution. This will include managing maintenance contractors visiting the building/controlling keys/assisting with alarm checks
- Managing deliveries, including couriers and post
- Develop a good understanding of the local area and develop a local amenities information file becoming the 'expert' in terms of local knowledge
- Managing the intercom for the underground car park
- Producing a weekly report for key stakeholders
Concierge/added value responsibilities
- Support the sales and leasing agents, working to help promote the vacant office space. You will prepare for viewings by ensuring space is looking pristine and ensure a hospitable welcome to potential occupiers.
- Work with a designated external agency to help develop and communicate (when required) a structured events programme aimed at delivering a community vibe and offering activities to increase enjoyment for those working in the offices during the day. You will also find out what's happening locally and reach out to the local businesses to find supporting offers and deals.
- Work collaboratively with your jobshare to develop a monthly newsletter for tenants to communicate activities and drive participation
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service
- Selfmotivated and willing to take on additional activities as part of the reception role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft office competent with confidence using social media / Canva
- Enjoy working independently as part of the reception job share
- Previously worked in a premium, corporate front of house reception role or customer service, marketing, or sales environment
