Description

The Position:

The role of Team Leader is essential for planning and co-ordinating the turnaround process of our aircraft and ensuring that our ramp operations run smoothly within strict time constraints.

As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising the tasks of Driver Loaders and ensuring that all procedures are followed for the safe and efficient turnaround of flights.

You will need strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to understand all the technical aspects of working on the Ramp.

To Succeed In This Role You Will Ideally:

Be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal and motivational skills, with the ability to assert authority when necessary whilst maintaining good relations.
Have proven airport Ramp and Sorting Area experience.
Be in possession of a sound technical background, with indepth knowledge of Ramp and Safety procedures.
Be highly selfmotivated, in possession of excellent communication skills and have the ability to prioritise tasks whilst also organising & coordinating the tasks of the other members of the group.
Be capable of working in a pressurised environment with tight deadlines.
Be able to be flexible at all times and adapt to different working practices and changes.
Have the ability to work independently on your own initiative and in a team with a thorough, cooperative, and methodical approach
Have a full clean UK Driving Licence
