    Tech Champion – Social Media

    Location: Based in Birmingham at Arts Council England office. Flexible hybrid working.

    Salary: Regional based £35,225, plus excellent benefits including 25 days annual leave.

    Contract: FTC to 31/3/2025 working 35 hours per week.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Digital Culture Network as a Tech Champion for Social Media. The network supports the development digital skills within the creative and cultural sector in England. You will be a champion for encouraging best practice and innovation in use of Social Media for a range of organisations from galleries to theatres, libraries, festivals, arts centres and museums across the country.

    Do you enjoy supporting and mentoring others? Do you want to help creative and cultural organisations improve their digital skills? This role involves providing actionable 1-2-1 advice, delivery of training and creating resources to help individuals and organisations make the most of their social media.

    The ideal candidate will be an experienced Social Media professional, who has a good understanding of how organisations and individuals might use this technology to their best advantage. They should have drive, ambition and the communication skills to encourage and support learners at all levels to realise their ambitions through digital solutions.

    You will work closely as part of a dynamic and friendly national team of Tech Champions to provide support and expertise across the country and represent the network in the Midlands. You will be highly motivated and able to work independently on your initiative as well as proactively contribute to national team working.
