- 6 months with the opportunity to convert to a permanent role.
- 2-3 days in office if you take up the permanent opportunity at the end of the contract.
- Azure experience is a must Microsoft Front Door, Azure Load Balances, Azure NSGs, etc.
- Branch network, firewalls, switches, routers, load balances, VPNs.
- Experience with either Cloudflare or Palo Alto: they are investing heavily in Cloudflare.
- CCNA/CCNP/AZ700 certs.
- F5 would be useful but not essential.

With their head office in London, global offices and circa 800 employees in the business, they are a truly global and recognized brand. Excitingly they're going through a huge program of change and development.
They are looking for a seasoned Network Architect (Azure-focused). The role initially encompasses designing a short-term enterprise architecture (to be laid out by the Network Engineers) and then mapping out a 3-year plan: replacing all network, firewalls, switches, routers, load balancers and VPNs in Azure, and working with Cloudflare and Palo Alto. Currently, the network is managed by 2 external vendors and 3 permanent network engineers. The role reports directly to the Enterprise Architect.
Our client is looking for someone who has the strategic experience to drive their network architecture and also someone who comes from a hands-on background so they can articulate the roadmap to the Network Engineers in the team.
