Compensation and Benefits Director

Basingstoke

£70,000 to £95,000 depending on experience plus 25% bonus plus car allowance


Benefits:

25 days holiday, 37.5 hour week, pension, private medical insurance, car allowance (£7500) plus 25% bonus annually


1to1 Recruitment are recruiting a Compensation and Benefits Director for a leading global provider of products and services in the Life Sciences industry.

The company have approximately 16,000 Associates worldwide and operate in more than 100 countries.


Joining the team in Basingstoke headquarters the role of Compensation and Benefits Director will be responsible for the day to day activities and market pricing to ensure the Company's external competitiveness.

This role would also involve working closelywith local HR Directors/Managers. Lead, develop and coach the team and provide feedback on performance and future development.


THE ROLE

  • Ensure costs, compliance, and competitive positions in the local markets regarding compensation and benefits
  • Direct daily activities of the department
  • Direct various compensation and benefit related projects involving high level project management
  • Recommend creative solutions for complex compensation and benefits issues globally
  • Partner with local HR teams to share knowledge and develop local plans to implement global initiatives
  • Direct the compensation market pricing activities
  • Lead and manage the sales incentive compensation programs feeding back to business leaders during the planning process and communicating the plans to managers and HR teams
  • Ensure administration of various compensation programs.
  • Direct due diligence during potential acquisitions, drive benefit and compensation harmonization
  • Direct compensation and benefit projects

Education and Required Experience
Bachelor's Degree

Minimum of 12 years experience in the compensation field

Minimum of 6 years Management Experience

MS Word and advanced spreadsheet and database capabilities

Presentation skills from small to large groups

Collaborate - able to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

Communicate effectively, able to solve complex problems, be self aware.

Able to guide group discussions

Be customer focused - dedicated to meeting the expectations of internal customers, establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and gain their trust and respect
