Roles & responsibilities

Collecting and delivering cargo to and from vendors/clients in a safe, timely manner ensuring that you comply with Highway Code and other company and legal guidelines.
To secure loads in line with company and legal standards, this will be dependent on the load type.
Provide the appropriate and accurate paperwork for deliveries and ensuring that the appropriate paperwork is received upon collection of goods.
Carry out routine inspections of the vehicle and load prior to commencing transportation of goods.
Maintain a professional demeanour whilst conducting driving duties at all times and providing excellent customer service.
Comply with all relevant company work instructions and procedures for each job function.
Relief holiday cover for Warehouse Operatives.
Receive goods into the warehouse where required.
Store all goods in allotted location.
Update warehouse system with all relevant Goods Receipt details & location in accordance with agreed client KPI's.
Administer Goods Receipt paperwork.
Ensure physical details of goods received match Freight Log.
Ensure goods despatched match actual call off.
