    Sawley Junior School is looking to appoint an ambitious school leader to take on the role of Head of School from 1st September 2024.

    This role has been created to support a smooth one year transition for school leadership following the announcement of the current Headteacher to retire at the end of the 2024/25 academic year.

    There are currently 325 children on roll with an age range of 7-11.

    The school shares the site with Sawley Infant & Nursery School allowing the two phases to work closely together for the benefit of our children.

    The environment we provide for our children promotes independence, self-motivation and confidence.

    Encouraging the children to show care, consideration and respect for others is central to our ethos and we work hard as a staff to keep this aim.
