    Job description

Are you looking for an exciting and new challenge?

Gas safety is a key priority for our service. Our engineers play a vital role in ensuring our properties are safe, meet the decent home standard, and are as energy efficient as possible.

We manage over 5,100 council properties, with over 4,500 connected to the gas network. Our highly skilled team replace 200 boilers per year with the very best boilers on the market.

Are you passionate about gas safety in residents' homes?

You will play a vital role delivering high-quality installations, keeping gas safety at the forefront of any works undertaken. You will be working within a team of tradespeople consisting of plumbers, electricians and multi-trade operatives to upgrade boilers and heating systems that are due replacement. This role, from time to time, will also involve servicing and breakdown repair during peak seasons.

Are you looking to expand your knowledge in Greener Energy products?

We are introducing new low carbon technologies to achieve net zero carbon emissions across our housing stock. This target means we are re-training our work force to deliver and install modern cleaner and greener energy products like Air Source Heat Pumps into our properties. We see this approach as a priority for increasing the energy performance of our properties and investing in our workforce. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in servicing and installing these new technologies.

    About you

What is in it for you

    • £35,713 up to £39,878 per annum with excellent performance (pay award pending)
    • 37 hours working hours per week
    • 27 Days annual leave (plus an additional 5 days after 5 years' service)
