Sphere Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client an expanding Building Services Contractor in Cardiff, that operate in the Renewables Sector.

This is an key role for this contractor to allow them to focus on further expansion, with emphasis on producing accurate and timely estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

Obtain competitive quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
Review and analyse drawings and any other tender documentation to prepare estimates
Review and incorporate historical data on labour levels and productivity, to reflect true costs of labour
Coordinate the database for pricing and labour units
Work inconjunction with procurement to maintain a directory of Renewables suppliers and pricing
Liaise with internal stakeholders such as design and operations on specific tender requirements
Attend pre and post tender meetings, as required
Present estimates to clients, as and when required
Previous and current experience working as an Estimator
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Adept knowledge of Estimating Software
Knowledge of estimating best practices and methodologies
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with all levels within the business
