Senior Health & Wellbeing Youth Worker (Full-time)
(Salary £27,252 per annum; 5 days/35 hrs per week - flexible working conditions with 1-2 days each week based at Central Office, Belfast)
Boys & Girls Clubs, a regional voluntary youth organisation
, is seeking to appoint a Senior Youth
Stockman's Way, Musgrave Industrial Park, Belfast BT9 7JU).
The Senior Health & Wellbeing Youth Worker will be an important member of our professional staff team and will lead and motivate a team of youth workers across Northern Ireland (NI) to critically analyse the current approaches in youth work in relation to health & wellbeing.
- designing, delivering, and developing an innovative programme that can be used to support youth workers across NI and enhance quality of provision for children and young people involved in the youth service.
Youth Worker will undertake additional responsibilities. These will include working to support our membership of 120 youth & community organisations across NI.
The Senior Youth Worker will utilise the organisations network and foster relationships between statutory, voluntary and community sector agencies involved in the work of Boys & Girls Clubs.
To carry out these duties we are actively looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with the appetite and commitment to improve services for children, young people, and local youth organisations.
