    First Point Group has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager with direct in-house experience working for any of the following companies - BT/EE, O2 / Telefonica, Three, Sky and Virgin and selling Professional Services / SaaS / Software Products.

    As an Individual Contributor, this is an opportunity for a hunter that can leverage their previous relationship within these companies to win new business opportunities within the area of SaaS / Professional Services.

You will be driving further growth in UK as you wish based on the new telco accounts that you will open so it will be essential for you to have relationships at C-Suite / C-Level with these companies in place.

    You will work with an ambitious and talented company with a global footprint within telecommunications and media industries. You will be given support internally from the VP and C-Level as you'll joining an open-minded, conscious and collaborative team that values integrity, delivery of excellence and a great team spirit to achieve the collective goal of delivering excellence and value to clients.

    Responsibilities:

    Managing the sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, and other deliverables for closing deals, all the while regularly exceeding sales targets by pitching cutting-edge products to new clients based in the UK.

    Scheduling and carrying out online and in-person meetings, software demonstrations, and phone calls with new clients.

    Retaining your familiarity with the products and services offered by the business – all in relation to SaaS, Software Products and Software Applications

    Create accurate and thorough sales reports.

    In due course, making sure that all new accounts are smoothly transferred to the account management teams.

    You will be expected to generate 5M/year in revenue over the course of a 3-year duration

    Experience:

    You will be a hunter with a proven track record of generating and closing new business deals by breaking new accounts (UK telecom operators / carriers)

    5+ years of aggressive new business sales expertise in the UK Communications & Media IT services and software sales environment, which is characterized by long and medium-length sales cycles as well as large and minor financial transactions;

    Working directly with clients and influential decision-makers in specific accounts;

    A team member with unquestioned honesty, credibility, and character.

    Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

    You must be able to partake in international travel up to 50% of the time on average, depending on the work you do and the clients you serve.
