Our client is a well-known international brand looking for a
Buyer for their
Childrenswearfunction on a 1 year FTC.

This exciting role is on their iconic occasionwear department so our client is looking for a Buyer with impeccable attention to detail, passion for the product and a self starter.

Key responsibilities include:

Working closely with Design and Merchandising team to create a range which drives sales, profit and performance
Reviewing risk and opportunities to drive the business forward
Analyse sales and competitor performance to highlight opportunities
Deliver product on time in line with Critical Path
Manage supplier relationships to source great product, achieve margin targets and deliver goods on time
Help nurture and develop the wider team through effective management and strong leadership

You have:

Experience working in Childrenswear preferable
Experience in managing your own area
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with a high option count and varied supply base
Creative nature with a passion for product
Strong communication skills with all colleagues, regardless of level
Commercial understanding of the childrenswear market
Excellent negotiation skills
