Description

The main objectives of the role are;

Ensure Environmental Health and Safety tasks are in accordance with company policy at all times
Assist in the administration and maintenance of a highly effective proactive Environmental Health Safety management system
Assist in ensuring a high level of visibility of Environmental Health and Safety throughout the Company
Assist in general administration of Environmental Health & Safety documents
Assist in internal audit program as required in compliance of Environmental Health and Safety
Assist in coordination of Environmental Health & Safety audit recommendations as required
Assist in as required the administration and training of accident and hazard reports in order to maintain a high standard of reporting and recommendations
Assist in taking minutes at meetings, maintaining action tracker and proactively following up on actions
Regularly participate in management GEMBA walks
Updating site information on EH&S noticeboards as required
Provide adhoc administration support as required
Assist as and when required with site evacuation
Support with purchase orders and invoicing
Coordinate First Aid stock and other stock requirements throughout the Company
Experience in a similar role
High level of attention to detail
Ability to exercise good judgment
Ability to engage with people at all levels
Demonstrate communication skills, both written and oral
IT literate with proficient knowledge in MS Office
Be able to prioritise and manage tasks effectively
Basic knowledge of current Environmental Health & Safety Legislation
First Aid Certificate is desirable
