Senior Economist / £70,000 - £80,000 / London (Hybrid) / Permanent

Overview:


My client, a leading technology platform whose services are used by 90% of the Fortune 500, are currently looking for a Senior Economist to join them on a permanent basis.


Role & Responsibilities:


  • Track the political and financial development of various countries
  • Write and edit country reports for a variety of countries and regions
  • Focus on macroeconomic, exchange rates, transfer risk and credit performance of countries
  • Monitor changes in situations for assigned countries and regions
  • Collaborate with other departments to produce unique solutions
  • Rapidly respond to client questions

Essential Skills & Experience:


  • 5+ years' experience in an Economist role
  • Masters educated, with a focus on quantitative economies
  • Extensive experience in analysing Country Risk
  • Econometric modelling and forecasting, geared towards Country Risk research
  • Good programming skills, ideally Python or R

Package:

- £70,000 - £80,000 basic + bonus
