The post holder will work within the Organisational Development Team and be the co-ordinator for health and wellbeing services and work operationally to support colleagues and leaders from across the Trust to embed wellbeing in all aspects of service delivery.

You will be the organisational lead for the Health and Wellbeing and associated action plans and a key influencer within our system work.

You will lead a broad range of projects and developments as part of the Trusts' ambition to develop a robust and truly inclusive wellbeing offer where physical, psychological, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing is embraced, and people feel well and cared for at work.


The post holder will work with all colleagues, including Trust Board, and manage wellbeing programmes and initiatives and will be a skilled communicator, effective motivator with the ability to influence and engage people at all levels.


  • Be the first point of contact for Trustwide staff health and wellbeing programmes and have a strong presence across the organisation both onsite across all locations and through social media communication platforms
  • Coordinate health and wellbeing programmes which offer a range of options to offer 'something for everyone'
  • Ensure that the wellbeing programmes purpose, objectives, and benefits are clearly defined and delivered to a high standard. You will need to utilise project management methodology whilst capturing key areas of time, cost, quality, risk management, benefits realisation, milestone reviews and evaluation of any initiatives
  • Establish, coordinate and chair appropriate groups that are necessary to support the successful delivery of the work programme. This will include regular communication, planning and scheduling of meetings, setting agendas, production, and distribution of meeting papers, note taking, distribution of minutes and action points, ensuring progress and completion of agreed actions
  • Attend, present and support at Trust meetings, raising awareness of health and wellbeing programmes, ensuring full understanding of the objectives and requirements
