Skills and Experience Required:


  • Embedded C/C++ programming
  • RTOS and Bare metal development
  • Modbus, CANbus, SPI, I2C protocols

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has been created for an experienced Embedded Engineer to join a growing engineering team, the successful Embedded Engineer will be working on a range of key products within the smart energy and sustainabilitysector.

You will be given the chance to work on new product designs that will help improve the electricity network, connecting with EV chargers, solar panels and other smart devices.


This will be a varied role where you will work closely with a growing engineering team of like-minded embedded and electronic engineers in a challenging and friendly environment.

You core focus will cover a range of software design and development tasksfor a range of industry leading products.


You can expect the role to involve coding in C/C++ across embedded environments (RTOS and Bare metal) whilst using a variety of serial protocols (I2C, MODBUS, CANBUS, SPI etc).

You will be working on the design of complex and regulated products so any experiencewriting code for safety critical or regulated industries is desirable whilst any experience with ARM processors or Linux will make your CV standout.


This role can be performed semi remotely, and the client are happy for the successful Embedded Engineer to work from home the majority of the time.

This role will best suit an embedded engineer who is enthusiastic about software development, enjoys varietyin their role and the chance to work within a small engineering team throughout the full development life cycle.

  • ARM processors
  • STM ideally
  • Linux
  • Safety critical standards and regulations
