Broster Buchanan are exclusively recruiting for a Payroller to be based in Amersley, this role is a part time vacancy, ideally 25-30 hours per week
Role Overview

  • Production and management of payroll and time and attendance data to support the business and ensure payroll runs smoothly
  • To provide accurate and timely data in order to process the company payroll and pension and to ensure that our time and attendance system is up to date and accurate to facilitate accurate timely reporting to the business.
Kev Responsibilities

  • Providing accurate and timely information to the payroll bureau to enable them to complete monthly payroll for c350 employees, this includes but is not limited to
  • Calculating statutory payments
  • Overtime hours and shift premiums
  • Deductions for absences
  • New starter and leavers details
  • Pension deductions
  • 100% check of all monthly data amendments sent to the bureau plus a 10% check of payslips to ensure employee payments and deduction are correct, this also includes company pension contributions
  • Pension administration and liaison between the bureau and Creative Pension Trust, ensuring correct data is processed and held by both parties.
  • Main point of contact for employee payroll and T&A queries, all queries to be dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Main point of contact for external parties such as local authorities, CMS and DWP
  • Daily maintenance and monitoring of the time and attendance system, ensuring all Warehouse hours are locked down
  • Yearend processes to ensure employee holiday/FWP and Flexi balances are correct
  • Ensuring both finance system and the bureau hold the most up to date data linking to employee departments, cost centres and nominal codes
  • System maintenance including but not limited to user changes, access rights ensuring that the appropriate access levels are given.
  • Liaising with external support and internal IT to ensure T&A equipment is maintained
  • Support Managers and Supervisors
  • Working with the HR team to ensure employee information and payroll data is accurate
  • Ensuring comprehensive task instructions are up to date for all tasks and saved on the finance server
  • Adhoc reporting relating to payroll, T&A and pension
Salary - £25,000 - £27,000
